Hi my son aged 15 for the last 2years has been getting recurrent boils,now he only gets them in the same area on his shoulder blade.When they start off they look like tiny pimple heads,by day 2-3 the boil is big and very deep some even going into the mussel and leaving very big scares.Blood tests have all come bck normally,i cook red meats,vegs,seldom takeaways.When the medecine clears up the boil 2 wks later another one comes up,he's getting them about 3 every mouth.Doctors just say that nothings wrong,however i thought you got boils anywhere on your body not just in the same area time and time again.They also felt for a under linning cysit but felt no lumbs,could you be able to help me thankyou concerned mum

I understand your concern. From the description you provide, its likelt that what your child gets is a sebaceous cyst, from the same sebaceus glands again and again as the infection doesnt get cleared completely each time.

Your child is more likely to have little oily skin or you use lots of oil and or powder over shoulder blades that in addition makes the sebacues glands clogged and infected.
